On-street parking
The city of Bath applies charges to on-street parking from 8am to 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays. Charges depend on the street and length of time you are parked in a space. Certain on-street parking can only be paid for with a MiPermit, and all pay and display machines only accept coin payments and notes. This can be quite difficult to understand, especially if you are new to the city.
Off-street parking
Parking is available at the station for a daily rate of £11.70 on weekdays and £11.70 on weekends. The city has various short, long and multiple day car parks. The long stay and multiple day car parks can be found on Avon, Charlotte and Manvers Streets. Short term parking is found at the Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, Broad Street, Cattle Market, Claverton Street and Kingsmead Square. Charges for short term parking start at £1.60 per hour.

A visit to Bath definitely requires a trip to the Roman Baths, which are within walking distance of the station. The baths are open daily, with opening and closing times changing depending on the season. Ticket prices vary depending on the category purchased, but start at £18. Whilst visitors are not able to swim at the Roman Baths due to the quality of the water, nearby Thermae Bath Spa has treated water allowing you to still experience the mineral-rich waters.

In addition to the baths, Bath is known for its beautiful architecture, shopping and breweries. The Bath Abbey, situated alongside the baths, is an Anglican parish church and an active place of worship. Pulteney Bridge crosses over the River Avon and, in addition to being historic, is lined with various shops on both sides, and is a must-see for visitors to Bath.
