JustPark Modern Slavery Statement FY 2025

Introduction

JustPark is committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically. We take seriously our duty to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present in our organisation or supply chains. This statement is made in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps JustPark has taken, and will continue to take, to prevent and address the risks of modern slavery within our operations and partnerships.

Modern slavery is a hidden crime that has devastating and lasting impacts on individuals. It can take many forms, including child trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, and domestic servitude. Victims can be men, women, and children of any age, nationality, or background, though the crime disproportionately affects vulnerable or socially excluded groups.

At JustPark, we recognise that no organisation can tackle modern slavery in isolation. Collaboration, vigilance, and responsible business practices are essential to ensuring the protection of people's rights and freedoms.

Key Facts

  • The International Labour Organisation estimates that over 40 million people worldwide are trapped in modern slavery.

  • In the UK, government figures suggest at least 10,000 potential victims, though independent research indicates the true number may exceed 100,000.

  • Victims of modern slavery are found across many industries, including those connected to supply chains, facilities management, and outsourced services.

The Modern Slavery Act 2015

The Act requires organisations to be transparent about the steps they are taking to prevent modern slavery in their business and supply chains. JustPark fully supports this principle and is committed to ensuring that:

  • Modern slavery does not take place in our business or supply chains.

  • Staff, suppliers, and partners understand their responsibilities in safeguarding against exploitation.

  • Effective systems, due diligence, and reporting processes are in place.

Statement Coverage

This statement is made on behalf of JustPark Parking Limited (UK)

Our Organisation, Business and Supply Chains

JustPark is a global parking technology platform, formed through the 2024 merger of ParkHub (North America) and JustPark (UK), backed by LLR Partners and FTV Capital. JustPark operates across the UK and North America, processing over $1 billion in booking volume annually for 500+ customers in North America and serving over 14 million drivers via the JustPark app in the UK. Our consolidated turnover is in excess of £50m.

Supply Chain Overview:

Our supply chains include four main categories:

  • On-Site Operations: Field enforcement, ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) equipment, and event-day parking management services at partner venues and stadiums.

  • Direct IT & Technology Services: Cloud computing, software licensing, payment processing, and data hosting supporting the JustPark marketplace platform.

  • Corporate & Professional Services: Legal, finance, marketing, and HR.

  • Indirect Goods & Services: Office supplies and general consumables.

Governance

Oversight of JustPark’s efforts to ensure that modern slavery including forced labour and human trafficking is never allowed to be present in either our direct business or our supply chain ultimately lies with our Board of Directors and, on a day to day basis, is a shared responsibility between all members of our Executive team.

Our Policies

JustPark's work to prevent modern slavery is embedded in the following internal policies, which apply to all employees, workers, and contractors:

  • Whistleblowing Policy - enables staff to raise concerns, including about modern slavery or exploitation, confidentially and without fear of reprisal.

  • Code of Conduct - sets clear expectations of ethical behaviour for all employees and contractors.

  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy - promotes fairness and helps mitigate the risk factors that can leave people vulnerable to exploitation.

  • Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy - reinforces transparency and accountability across our business practices.

Our Commitment

Our commitment is clear: modern slavery and human trafficking have no place at JustPark. We will continue to strengthen our practices in the following areas:

  • Proactive – Raising awareness among employees and partners to recognise and report concerns.

  • Protect – Ensuring our people, suppliers, and contractors operate in ways that protect individuals from exploitation.

  • Partnership – Collaborating with partners and suppliers to identify and mitigate risks across our operations and supply chain.

  • Providers – Embedding anti-slavery clauses in supplier contracts and requiring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

  • Policies – Maintaining robust internal policies and processes that enable transparency, ethical conduct, and reporting of concerns.

Due Diligence

We take a proportionate, risk-based approach to due diligence across our supply chain:

Supply Chain and Procurement

  • All new supplier contracts include obligations relating to compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

  • Suppliers must demonstrate their own commitment to preventing slavery and trafficking, and contracts may be terminated if breaches occur.

Employment Practices

  • JustPark operates a transparent and fair recruitment process. All employees undergo right-to-work checks, identity verification, and reference checks.

  • We do not use recruitment agencies that charge workers fees or engage in exploitative practices.

  • Employees are supported by fair pay, equal opportunities, and access to policies that protect against exploitation.

Training and Awareness

  • Guidance on recognising and reporting modern slavery is available to employees.

  • Awareness of modern slavery is embedded in JustPark’s wider commitment to ethical business and safeguarding.

Risk Assessment and Management

JustPark has assessed the modern slavery risk associated with our business and supply chains as follows:

  • Direct workforce risk: assessed as low, given our workforce is predominantly office-based, UK-employed, and subject to standard right-to-work and recruitment controls.

  • Supply chain risk: assessed as medium - while some of our 3rd party suppliers such as on-the-ground event operators, cleaning contractors etc do present a higher risk, these are limited in number and face additional on-boarding screening and contracting terms.

Measuring Effectiveness

We monitor the effectiveness of the steps we are taking through the following key performance indicators:

  • Percentage of employees completing modern slavery awareness training in the reporting year.

  • Percentage of supplier contracts, and higher-risk suppliers specifically, containing anti-slavery clauses and subject to enhanced onboarding screening.

  • Number of on-site/event operator and cleaning contractor suppliers screened or audited under our enhanced due diligence process.

  • Number of concerns raised via the Whistleblowing Policy relating to modern slavery or exploitation, and the outcome of any investigation.

  • Confirmed instances of modern slavery or labour exploitation identified in the reporting year, and remediation action taken.

Continuous Improvement

JustPark recognises that tackling modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility. We will continue to strengthen due diligence across our operations and supply chain, review our policies regularly, and engage with industry best practices to reduce risks.
