On-street parking

Public transport
If you do not wish to walk, there is a good transport network. You can take a train, bus, a taxi or a boat. Both private taxis and Hackney’s are available in the city. Cardiff Bus links Penarth and Barry to Cardiff and other surroundings. In the city centre, most buses move anti-clockwise.
Some trains quickly connect to London and other cities, whereas Cardiff Boat Tours Ltd (Princess Katharine) offers an hourly water bus service between Bute Park in the city centre and Cardiff Bay.

Cardiff County Council has launched a new parking control programme to reduce illegal parking in the city. The programme benefits the disabled community by ensuring proper usage of barrier-free parking spaces. The purpose of the Council is to reduce problematic parking by imposing fines on drivers who have illegally parked.
