Leonardo Hotel Cardiff

The barrier wouldn't open so we opened it with a button outside the barrier - I had a message this morning with an error code saying I had to extend my parking???? Not cool

The car park is small/narrow (considering it belongs to a hotel) and only fits 1 vehicle going in/out at one time. The barrier code didn't work, nor did it open as we arrived/left; only pressing the buzzer made someone pay attention and open the barrier. The entrance/exit is also in a 'cul de sac' where taxis wait so its already crowded with vehicles. If you're a nervous driver, this isn't the car park for you. Saying that, I would potentially use it again due to pricing and central location but might not be my first choice.

Post code sent us to the wrong place. Could not get out using the code. Had to get my partner to go to the entrance side of the barrier and press it to open it . Very poor

No space in the car park when we arrived. Very disappointing. Stressful search for another car park as needed to be at an event. Would not use again

Just park gave me the wrong code and I needed the help of staff to get out. Very stressful

Really great parking space if you are heading to Cardiff, this is a great place to park.

There was a barrier. I tried using the open barrier button on my phone but it didn't work. I had to buzz the hotel who then let me in. I had the same problem exiting the car park. No help from your call centre. Eventually a driver behind me used his code to let me out. Great parking location but poor access instructions. Should have a PIN code for in & out.

Arrived at barrier, wouldn't open using the Just Park app which is a first as normally all is smooth. Pressed buzzer to reception and let in. No parking spaces available except 2 that were very tight and didn't belong to the hotel by the signs over them. Visited reception after parking temporarily in one of the available spaces and was told just because we'd booked through JustPark a year ago, we weren't entitled to a space!! What is the point in booking parking ahead if it's then not available on the day? As it was, we were allowed to park in one of the available tight spaces for the night. Returned to the car, barrier did not open to leave, had to buzz reception several times to get out. The worst JustPark experience I've had to date and I won't be returning or recommending to others. Other hotels have reserved parking areas for Just Park so there's never an issue, this car park is small, so if the hotel is full, space is tight, so don't advertise spaces on those days and contact anyone who may have booked to tell them you possibly cannot honour their booking.
