This was the WORST experience of parking I have EVER had! I simply couldn't find the entrance, and that was despite taking care to look at the pictures and read the description, having seen that other people had trouble with bus lanes etc. My sat nav took me to the wrong side of the hotel and there was absolutely no hint as to where to go from there so I had to drive randomly in one way and then the other until I found a sign for the Marriott. I followed this and found a sign for Mill Lane; you have to turn right at some traffic lights, going down a road signposted for buses and taxis only - the 'hotel access' on the sign isn't that clear. And then I couldn't see the car park entrance and had traffic behind me so couldn't stop. I went round the same loop three times in the end, trying so hard to see the car park entrance and in the process went down a road which is now a bus lane. Some workmen told me that I'll have a £45 fine for that :( Happily they also explained how to find the entrance for the car park so I eventually got there, hot, tired, stressed and too late for the leisure centre. What was most upsetting was that the guy at reception was totally unsympathetic and just said 'there are full instructions on the website' - which is frankly not true. You'd think that a hotel like The Marriott would make an effort to solve the problem - I put a review on Tripadvisor when I got to the room and found that people have been having the same problem for at least a year. They need to update the directions on their website to be much clearer and for access for the city centre as well as from the M4 West junction. They should also make the 'Car Park' sign bigger and higher and preferably have an arrow e.g. "Car Park Entrance -->>" Not at all happy is an understatement!
Great and secure parking, fantastic location, right in the city centre
car park is great once you can find the entrance to the hotel, its far from obvious or clear. May re book there but only now that I know how to find the correct road. It wasn't fun trying to find the actual entrance whilst navigating central cardiff.
Friendly service at hotel, and location felt secure. However, bus lane signage is confusing and I got a bus lane ticket when leaving the car park!

Great location: I was getting a train from Cardiff Central station, and the car park was a 5-minute walk away. Great for shopping too, as the car park is bang in the centre of the city. The Marriott Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when giving me the code to the gate. I will use this facility again. Great value for money.
Found it extremely difficult to find car park entrance due to conflicting information on sat nav & car park notice was quite small & not at eye level. Needs to be much better signposted
