Information about parking in Brighton Station
Brighton station is located not far west of the main London Road that follows on from the A23 from London. The station is easy to find, being relatively centrally located within Brighton and in close conjunction with most transport links in the city.
There are a number of off-street car parks around Brighton station due to its central location – but for the same reason, parking on-street can prove to be quite challenging.

Parking on-street around Brighton station can be quite difficult as it is contained within Parking Zone Y – one of the many Controlled Parking Zones in the city – which covers the northern area of Central Brighton. This CPZ is largely restricted to pay-and-display spaces but also areas reserved specifically for resident permit holders. As a result, spaces are limited for visiting drivers. Charges apply from 9am-8pm, Monday-Sunday.

There are a few off-street options surrounding Brighton station but prices can be quite expensive.
There is an on-site car park operated by Southern Rail that is perhaps the most convenient choice for drivers. Brighton Station car park (Queens Road, BN1 3XP) is an affordable option compared to some car parks in Brighton. It is also open 24 hours a day, Monday-Sunday – and although it doesn’t offer a specific long stay rate, its opening hours do mean that long stay is possible albeit at the cost of paying the fixed daily rate.
Another nearby option is the council-operated London Road car park (Providence Place, BN1 4GE – follow the link to reserve your space via JustPark) located within the midst of the London Road shopping area and just a short walk from the train station. Open 24 hours a day, Monday-Sunday, with hundreds of spaces, this is a great option for drivers who want close proximity to the city and the station.

Brighton station is the southern terminus of the Brighton main line which connects the city to London, with frequent trains departing from the station to the South, the capital and beyond.
Brighton and Hove Council provide many designated disabled bays throughout the area surrounding Brighton station. Blue Badge holders may park in any of these bays and can also park on single or double yellow lines for up to 3 hours, provided there are no loading bans (which are clearly signalled by yellow strips on the kerb). Accessible facilities and spaces are provided at most off-street car parks including the two listed above.

Brighton has a number of Controlled Parking Zones, of which Brighton station is located within the North Central Brighton Parking Zone Y.
