Sainsbury's Brighton, New England St Car Park

The parking in Sainsbury's was excellent. Covered, secure and easy to access. The directions on the JustPark app sent me to a dead end though.

Postcode wasn’t good as it took us to a ‘no vehicle access to Sainsburys’ sign. What3Words would be ideal to find the entrance.

Safe covered car park under Safeways. Would have been helpful to have a few more instructions.

The directions took us past the turning to the entrance of the underground car park, and brought us out the opposite side of the Sainsbury’s which meant we had to go round on ourselves and use logic to work out where the car park entrance actually was. Not the end of the world but the address and postcode do not take you exactly where you need to be.

After reading about the difficulty in finding a space in this car park from other reviews, I made sure I was familiar with where the entrance/exit was on Google maps (street view) before making the journey. Good amount of free spaces available when I turned up between 5-6pm. As per other reviews, the signage could be improved to indicate this was a valid justpark zone (only sainsburys own signage up). Overall, good parking facilities.
