Besides London’s high-speed rail service, Sheffield station is also the starting point for the East Midlands train service between Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham and Norwich. Sheffield station, operated by East Midlands Trains, was renovated in 2010 to improve the security system, sanitary facilities and to add a well-equipped waiting room. A new first-class lounge was added, to allow passengers to enjoy a drink and free Wi-Fi before or after their trip.

  • Drop-off and pick-up

    The drop-off and pick up points are shown clearly from the entrance gate and/or from the station entrance. There is plenty of room for side loading and rear loading. Please note that there is no direct access from the drop-off point to the paved road or designated pedestrian zone.

  • Nearby attractions

    Sheffield station has many surrounding attractions where you can visit the city’s many historical sites and ruins. After visiting Sheffield Cathedral, you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Sheffield Winter Garden, or you can head to the Peak District, where you will enjoy the fresh air and many climbing and walking routes for all families.
