We are 1.25 miles from Stansted Airport terminal. It's 3.5 mins by car. You can walk in 20-30 mins, but there is no pedestrian access at the airport itself, so you will be on grass verges and crossing roads and low barriers. There are about 4 local buses per hour to the airport. The cost is £1.70-£2.00 single. Taxis are substantially more - £10-12 I believe. Your car is in full view of our house. We have night time security lights, but have never had any problems in 20 years of being here. We have a large 50x50ft square gravel drive, but we would ask cars to park in the spaces shown in the photos to be courteous and leave the drive free for others and for our personal use and access. Space 1 is to the right of hand side of the drive close to the house. Spaces 1 and 2 are in front of the double garage. Please leave enough room so we can open the left hand garage door. We are the terracotta coloured chalet bungalow. Please be sure to park on our drive and not my neighbours. You want 'FIRS HOUSE.' The name of our property is on the front of our house.

There are regular busses to and from the airport. The bus stop is situated just outside the household to the left, through a little passageway. The property is called Dunwell House. please look for red signs on the verge at front of the house Please park considerably to allow others to park. There is a bus that runs to the terminal -number 316 It starts running at 6.20am 20 past the hour until 9.20pm.on your return the 316 bus will drop you outside the house .catch from bus station at airport.316 bay 13 if you walk down towards airport you will come to a tee junction there you can also catch a 7A that will take you to the terminal you don’t need to be at the bus stop to catch the bus the driver will stop if safe to do so if you flag it down along the route Best to check bus time tables if you are walking there is a path that cuts through the woods and brings you closer to the airport. Look for black barns on your left. Path way is located on your right. Shoes will get muddy on path Best to book taxis to the airport in advance, the phone signal is not great at the property It’s ok to walk but difficult with large cases and children there is a path on your right as you are walking towards the airport that is a shortcut Have a safe trip. Property is on main road 3rd house past garden centre. Keep garden centre on your left side. Look for Dunwell house ( red signs )

One minute from the terminal building, closest parking to Stansted airport via the shortcut at the back. Once you have booked call me the DAY BEFORE you travel on 07785991139, DO NOT CALL BEFORE 7AM and do not send messages via the Justpark app as this is not monitored PLEASE NOTE: Please park behind the house on the right side as facing - NOT behind the Steel Gates. The house number is 1. There is a 10 metre square area that has space for a handful of cars. We have added new gated fencing to the property for added safety. The property is on the LEFT-HAND SIDE as if coming from the airport roundabout around 200 yards after a farmers barn (which is on your right). A number of people have parked behind the large steel gates on the left of the property, and been stuck overnight as it is locked overnight. Unfortunately, we have no control over it! There is a cut through to the airport, which can be accessed via the back of the property. and is a 3min walk. However, if you have a lot of luggage I always suggest the simplest way is to use a taxi. £6-8 using UBER. Alternatively the road, but it has no solid pavement. There are steps to cross to the airport via the larger car park behind the property, which sometimes can be slippery, especially in wet weather! I regularly have people park who drive the other passengers to the drop-off and walk over themselves after.
