Lovely, affordable parking space for one car at the front of a private house within a row of Victorian terrace houses only 15 minutes walking to city center. Avoid expensive parking meters and city center car park fees (£35 plus per day) by parking safely near the City, not far from the A14 , A 428 or M11 and walking 15 minutes in town. The location is perfect for going to City center, Collages,Castle street /Jesus Green, River Cam punting ,etc. It is in well lit in a high-quality area and has people coming and going during the day or night which is reassuring security-wise. Directions: Coming down Victoria road , look for the Carpenter arm pub on left , you see the church just in front , the parking space is by the 20 speed limit sign on the road before the traffic light on your right. Parking on a large secure driveway. It is a 4 minute walk to Jesus Green and 10 minutes pleasant walk to the centre of Cambridge. The largest vehicle we can accommodate is a 4x4 or estate car. The Citi1 Bus which goes every 10 mins to city centre stops directly outside.The gates are normal gates that are usually left open as the driveway is set back from the road.

This parking space is located on Canterbury Street which runs parallel to Huntingdon Road at the point in the street close to Halifax Road (see map in photos as Canterbury Street winds around a little). It is very close to Murray Edwards, Fitzwilliam, St Edmund’s and Lucy Cavendish Colleges and just 10 minutes walk from the historical Cambridge city center, punting, beautiful sights and shopping. The neighbourhood is well lit and safe. Available 24/7. The space will accommodate any car or a transit van, even fairly large ones (L3 is probably the maximum, an L4 would be too long for the space). The parking space is off road on Canterbury Street, it is the centre space between 3 newer build homes. This is a wide space but please do park within the boundaries of it so as not to impinge on the neighbouring spaces. Please also take extra care with pedestrians when driving in and out of the space as you will need to cross the pavement when doing so. The space is not far from the A14, A428 and M11 for those travelling from outside of Cambridge.
