There is an on-site pay-and-display short stay car park located just outside the station’s main entrance in Station Square, but there are a limited number of spaces and it is primarily used as a pick-up and drop-off point – as parking is allowed free of charge for up to 20 minutes.
Cambridge Station car park (Station Road, Cambridge, CB1 2JW) operated by NPC is the main Long Stay off-street car park serving the station. It has a good number of spaces and charges a relatively affordable hourly and daily rate, all whilst being in an ideal location for access to the station.

Cambridge station car park – along with most off-street locations in the city – offers a good amount of disabled spaces.
Disabled drivers displaying their Blue Badge may also apply through Cambridge City Council for permits and day-to-day access to the permit restricted parking bays throughout the city.

There is limited on-street parking available near to the station, as the surrounding streets are either busy roads and bus routes or residential permit holder zones – so be careful that you are following the rules accurately when you park.

There is no specific designated drop-off and pick-up point at Cambridge station, but drivers may stop in the pay-and-display bays in Station Square outside the main entrance free of charge – as long as they do not leave their vehicles unattended, and they vacate within 20 minutes.
