The city centre is approximately 30 minutes' (walk). Alternatively there are several buses you can catch that will get you there in 10-15 minutes which leave from the end of the street.

You can still get to our place, you'll just need to come via Commercial Road or Prince Street (ie from the east not the west). If you're coming into Bristol from the west, go via A370 / Coronation Road and come over the river.
