Some additional information about parking in bristol, to cater to all your parking needs
On-street parking
Much of Bristol city centre is a Controlled Parking Zone, and other areas are also restricted to resident permits only, so parking in the middle can be quite difficult at certain times. Despite this, there are still a large number of pay-and-display bays and spaces throughout the city – plus there are areas just outside the centre which have no restrictions at all.
On-street pay-and-display spaces typically operate from 8am-6pm within the central zone – but be aware that there is also usually a special charge that applies from 6pm until midnight. For visitors, parking in these spaces will be no less than £3 per hour, but each location can have slightly differing times and prices – so make sure you read signposts when you park up.
