Parking on Davey Drive, BN1

Just a note for future hirers that the parking space is best suited for small vehicles only I have a mini and it was fine anything bigger you’d block the other car in.

Easy to find.Drove straight in. Absolutely no problem.

Said it wasn't suitable for a low chassis car, we don't have a low chassis however very difficult to get on to. Picture was misleading as to the incline onto the driveway. Was unable to park.

Good communication and was the cheapest option with an easy walk into the centre. Main issue was, as others have said, it was a very challenging place to park. My car is old and scratched so it didn't bother me too much but it is steep and you need to come in at an angle. My car is a ford fiesta so not particularly low, but think it would have been fine with an SUV or similar and is wide enough. The owner is honest in the description, show's the space and states that it's not suitable for low vehicles.

Unfortunately it scraped the underside of my Mitsubishi Colt exhaust. (Car not loaded, and I'm only 8 stone) I personally won't choose it again for that reason. I'm an experienced driver as a community nurse, so used to parking lots of different places. As mentioned the driveway is steep and where the first part meets a horizontal footpath there is a sharp angle. (Concrete not grass) With my daughter's help and exiting to the left side partially onto the grass I managed not to scrape it the way out but if your vehicle doesn't have high clearance underneath be warned. Owner's communication good and everything else about it was fine.

Situated well for where I wanted to be. Easy to find. And lady was so helpful. Would recommend
