Is Euston in the Congestion Charge Zone?
No. Euston station sits just outside the Congestion Charge zone. Euston Road, which runs along the front of the station, forms the zone's northern boundary, and driving along it isn't charged. Turn south off it, though, into roads such as Gower Street, Upper Woburn Place or Duke's Road, and you're inside the zone during charging hours.
If you do enter the zone, here's what applies:
Congestion Charge: £18 a day if you pay in advance or on the day, or £21 if you pay within three days of travelling. It runs from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 12pm to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, with no charge between Christmas Day and the New Year's Day bank holiday. Electric cars registered for Auto Pay pay a discounted £13.50.
ULEZ: Euston is inside the London-wide Ultra Low Emission Zone, so non-compliant vehicles pay £12.50 a day whether or not they cross into the Congestion Charge zone.
The simplest way to avoid the Congestion Charge is to book a space north of Euston Road and approach from the north. If you're unsure about a particular address, TfL's online postcode checker will confirm whether it's inside the zone before you travel.
