Additional Information
Some additional information about parking in birmingham international station, to cater to all your parking needs
On-street parking
Birmingham International is located very close to the M6, the M42, Birmingham Airport and the NEC, all of which contribute to a lack of on-street parking. Indeed, most of the roads in the surrounding area provide no option to park – whether due to a constant flow of traffic, or because they are one-way narrow streets to and from main roads. Off-street parking is recommended.
Use the JustPark map to find information on available parking spaces near Birmingham International station.
Off-street parking
There are a number of off-street parking options in the area with multiple car parks serving the nearby Birmingham Airport and National Exhibition Centre, as well as Birmingham International Station itself.
Virgin Trains operate the main on-location car park, which offers over 2000 parking spaces. Birmingham International Station car park (Stationlink Road, Bickenhill Lane, Solihull, B40 1PA) is a multi-storey car park just outside the Northern entrance to the station – open 24 hours a day, Monday-Sunday – but its fares can be pretty costly, depending on your length of stay.
JustPark also offers a range of reservable off-street parking spaces near Birmingham International Station – you can book these via our website or app.

Nearby attractions
Located on the outskirts of Birmingham, the area surrounding the station actually has quite a lot to offer. If plane spotting – or indeed train spotting – is your thing, then look no further (you could probably even find a spot between the station and nearby Birmingham Airport to do both at the same time). Perhaps the most appealing attraction nearby is the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), which plays host to major events and shows all through the year. With the added beauty of Pendigo lake just a short walk east of the station too, whatever you’re into you can park up and enjoy your spare time close by.
