We are 1.25 miles from Stansted Airport terminal. It's 3.5 mins by car. You can walk in 20-30 mins, but there is no pedestrian access at the airport itself, so you will be on grass verges and crossing roads and low barriers. There are about 4 local buses per hour to the airport. The cost is £1.70-£2.00 single. Taxis are substantially more - £10-12 I believe. Your car is in full view of our house. We have night time security lights, but have never had any problems in 20 years of being here.
We have a large 50x50ft square gravel drive, but we would ask cars to park in the spaces shown in the photos to be courteous and leave the drive free for others and for our personal use and access. Space 1 is to the right of hand side of the drive close to the house. Spaces 1 and 2 are in front of the double garage. Please leave enough room so we can open the left hand garage door.
We are the terracotta coloured chalet bungalow. Please be sure to park on our drive and not my neighbours. You want 'FIRS HOUSE.' The name of our property is on the front of our house.

There are regular busses to and from the airport. The bus stop is situated just outside the household to the left, through a little passageway. (bus numbers: 133; 508) or if you need a taxi you need to book it well in advance as not many companies around this area. PLEASE PARK WHERE THE 'JUST PARK' SIGNS SHOWS ON THE WINDOWS.

It is about 6 mins by bus. With your back to the house turn left, walk up the road. Go through a small short alley. Turn right the bus shelter is the stop you need to the airport.

To walk, there is a path along the road to the airport boundary, cross the roads and walk into the short stay car park, then across the car park and up into the terminal.
