  • Off-street parking

There is no parking on-site at The Oval cricket ground and a very limited number of off-street options located nearby. It is strongly advised that any visitors arrive at this Central London ground via public transport, at least for the last bit of your journey.

Unfortunately, the nearest off-street car parks are located nearer to Vauxhall station and further in towards Central London, where parking charges can be extremely high.

JustPark offers a range of reservable off-street spaces near The Oval – in both council and commercially-run car parks, as well as at hotels, offices and on private driveways. You can browse these options and book a guaranteed space via our website or app.

  • Disabled parking

On-site parking at The Oval is only available to Blue Badge holders. This parking is quite limited on event days so it is recommended that you contact the ground of Surrey Cricket Club to pre-book a space.

Blue Badge holders may also park in any pay-and-display or resident permit bay near to the ground, for an unlimited time – but just be aware that some side roads with such spaces may be closed specifically for events.

You can filter when searching on JustPark to show all our parking spaces with disabled access around The Oval (select this option by clicking ‘Filters’ on the search results page).

  • Parking restrictions & event days

The Oval is in the Kennington Controlled Parking Zone of the London Borough of Lambeth. Parking can be very difficult in this zone on any day, due to on-street parking being largely limited to pay-and-display or resident permit holder spaces. However, on major event days at the cricket ground, some road closures will prevent access in and around the stadium – so it is crucial that you are aware of special restrictions on such days before you arrive by car.

On the JustPark map, we’ll only show you spaces which you’re allowed to park in (i.e. are not restricted) at the times you search for.

  • Overnight, weekends & bank holidays

Parking restrictions generally do not apply on weekends or Bank Holidays throughout Lambeth. However, on match days and in some bays on any day, they may still apply – so always read signposts on location outlining any special restrictions.

Enter your dates and times on our search results page to see what’s available overnight.
