Parking space on Garrick Gardens

So upon arrival I was asked for my keys, turns out they'd parked someone else behind a gate behind my car and wanted the option to move my car as the other people may be back before us (Not something listed ofr notificed in their posting!). I reluctantly handed over my key. Upon arrival back to the UK I was greeted with a phone call outlining that there had been an issuse, the lady tried to tell me I'd left my boot open all week and it had flattened the battery. This was utter nonsense as it wouldnt have locked and would have double beeped loudly had I done so. Upon returning to the car. I found a family with a disabled lady waiting for me to move my car. They were from the car behind, and were showing considerable grace given that this situation was not of their making! I also found the boot wide open and the bonnet up on my Jag for, togehter with the driver's window down and the driver's seat moved right back. Transpires they'd attempted to move the car, put the window down and failed to start it correctly, (mostly likely too many attempts at starting without a foot on the brake), and it had triggered the immobiliser, they then seem to have attempted to jump start the car. (Anyone trying to locate a battery on a Jag by lifting the bonnet has no place messing around with someone elses car.) Fortunately they did not find the battery, as had they tried to jump start it, they would have fried the Battery Management system!) So after resetting the security system, the car starts fine. Furious isn't the word. Absolutly NOT what I wanted to be dealing with on returning from a relaxing holiday.
