Apex Parking - Victoria Car Park

Plenty of space, very secure

I recently parked at a garage near Victoria Station (Apex Parking - Victoria Car Park) from 11:30 am on Monday, December 9th, to 4:30 pm on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite the garage's prime location and reasonable pricing, the conditions and service were appalling. Upon arrival, I discovered that the lower deck was flooded due to recent heavy rains, making parking a hassle. As we exited through the staircase, we were assaulted by a strong urine stench, with the area seemingly saturated in it—an extremely unpleasant and unhygienic experience. The most distressing part occurred when we tried to leave. Despite having prepaid through JustPark, we were stuck at the barrier. We pressed the help button and were connected to an extremely unhelpful and grumpy employee whose English was difficult to understand. As I struggled to recall our exact arrival time, I offered to provide our booking reference number to help resolve the issue. Instead of assisting, he aggressively berated my partner and me, accusing us of not paying attention, and then threw a tantrum. He abruptly hung up and refused to answer further calls. With cars piling up behind us, tensions rose. It was only after we pleaded and provided an approximate arrival time that he reluctantly allowed us to leave. The entire ordeal felt like a hostage situation, leaving us feeling traumatized and deeply offended by the way we were treated. Despite its convenient location and decent price, the atrocious service and appalling conditions of this parking garage make it a place I would strongly advise against using. This experience was unnecessarily stressful and deeply disappointing.

The spaces were very tight. We struggled to find our way out of the car park and when we returned the display to complete with my number plate didn't recognise it.

Had to use the intercom when leaving as the button to open the barrier did not work on JustPark app, did not find the booking was the error. But quick response from an operator who opened the barrier.

ANPR worked well. app button to open shutter didn't work. too many brands sharing same space. so lots of confusion on where to park and where not to. however security staff helped out.

No signs at all, we couldn't figure out how to get out the car park either on foot or in the car, very very poor signage !

Wasn't sure what bay I was supposed to use as many other companies had spaces ... I just left my car in a empty space that wasn't a hire firm and hoped for the best maybe better instructions would be good :)

The barrier upon exit would not open but we called the number of the attendant and he opened it promptly without any quibblesm

Excellent value and location, easy to use and helpful staff member to show the exit on foot and how to reenter which was not immediately obvious to a first timer. Will use again .

System to leave the parking did not seem very efficient, however the staff was helpful
