Car broken into and no way of contacting you to help

Car park didn’t feel particularly safe and was clearly being used as a means of relief for those caught short, but the car was still there undamaged the following day.

The parking was good but no lights, wasn’t happy about that, it was totally dark….

The space is very convenient but the lighting seems to have failed and it was very dark inside making it a worry parking and returning to my vehicle

I've used this parking location before as it is very handy for Lord’s. But I don't know what to make of it now. The instructions to enter say press the "open barrier" button on the app - I don't remember this from before so assumed it was a new security enhancement. However, there is no barrier so anyone could drive in and park. Once inside, there is no lighting - the whole car park is in pitch darkness. I had to rely on my headlights to find a parking bay which hopefully was not a "blue badge" bay, and then lining up to park centrally in the bay was hit and miss. I had hoped that by now a delayed motion sensor would have turned the building’s lights on but it remained shrouded in darkness apart from a small amount of daylight coming in at the entrance (that's the same entrance which apparently should have had a barrier). However, this was not enough to provide any sense of safety or security. I also recall from before that there was a separate exit - this is now closed and padlocked from the outside, so you have to drive out via the entrance. Security-wise, as there is nothing so stop anyone getting in and driving off, the level of security is low. My advice to anyone using this car park is: be warned, be vigilant, be accompanied, and have a torch with you.

I always use this space for Lords Cricket Ground. Less than 10ins walk, safe, convenient. Good price for a whole day.
