PLEASE NOTE: A few renters have told me their vehicles have scraped on the bump you must drive over to get into the space. The bump is the height of a low kerb, and with most vehicles it's no issue. You may want to enter the space diagonally as a precaution, or get out of the car and have a look before you drive over it. Thank you!

This parking space is in a heavily restricted area with reduced access for motorised vehicles. My experience was that to get to the parking space, I had to enter this restricted zone with my car - there didn't seem to be any other way to get to it - and I have now received a £130 fine from Islington Council. I disputed this based on having a reserved car space via JustPark but the council have refused this and said I crossed into the restricted area. I would suggest to whoever owns this car space that they advertise these restrictions more clearly and how, if it is at all possible, people should access this space without getting fined. Otherwise, they should not be advertising this space to anyone who doesn't already have access to this residential area. I have raised this issue to JustPark with all documentation as well.
