RCP - Archway Car Park

I booked a parking spot in North London via this App. I arrived at 11PM and found that the whole parking space was a building site. This was also long term building work and the closure would have happened weeks ago. This gave me the challenge to find alternative safe parking very late at night. This is exactly why you use a company and App like this to avoid such situations. Two days later I sent photos of the parking spot to the company via the contact system and made a formsl complaint. I also asked for compensation for the stress and waste of my time. The company responded within 30 minutes and repaid my fee. But the company provided no comment on the circumstances and no gesture of compensation. These are the facts of my experience. I could only speculate as to why this App takes bookings on a long-term building site; this could not be explained by a short delay in updating. Appreciate the opportunity to provide this feedback in a system with the word trust in its brand.

All was good until arriving back to the car park to find they had put fences up and padlocked it shut. You then have to call them so they can send a security person out to come and unlock the gates and let you out which was all a massive inconvenience and not stated on the booking at the time. Beware if your booking ends after 8PM you will have to do the same

This was the perfect parking place for visiting Whittington Hospital. Litterally across the road in the grounds of a deserted school or hospital building. The price was acceptable for 10 hours too at £13 The only very frustrating part was the ‘Directions’ button kept taking me to a padlocked gate over the other side of the vast building site. Eventually found it by scrutinising the very helpful photo of the car park in the instructions until we found the entrance round the other side. All in all good and I’ll be using this app in future to find parking
