Parking on Avenue Terrace, IG2

I arrived at parking space and was told I couldn't park there as had been double booked asked how I get my money back and was told it would be sorted on there side and the money has now been taken out of my account

Used this parking spot to get to a football match. The space owner was absolutely lovely and we will definitely use this spot again!

Have parked more than a few times and was happy with it. However, the last time when I went to get the car she allowed a friend (or just someone she knows) to park in front of her garage. Someone else parked on the street in front of the house. Both cars overhung the driveway a bit making the space between them too small for even a small car to get through. The fault was mainly with the person parked on her drive. I was completely trapped in. I couldn't reach her and really was scared I would be there for hours especially as I needed to pick up my child from school. In the end I was there just over 20 minutes and could do nothing about it. The old man who was on the drive came back and really let me know he didn't care he had parked so badly (he had a huge suv so there was no way he should ever have parked on the drive). I made it to my son about 5 minutes late (the trip is 40 minutes so really not an uber ride away tho I was having to consider it). I contacted the woman who rents the space out. No apology at all. I asked who the old man was and said she needed to make sure no one parked there that over hung the drive like that-she didn't respond to that. All I got were questions of did I have a receipt for parking for the day (I did and sent it) and what day etc. The sort of things asked when the person is just going to ignore the problem. I would strongly recommend against parking there again. It's convenient to walk to the tube but when you're trapped in- that really isn't convenient anymore is it? I guess if she had made an attempt to acknowledge the issue and said she would try to make sure it didn't happen again it would be alright but sadly she's failed to do anything. So one star is warranted.
