Parking on Ventnor Villas, BN3

Space was absolutely fine but the entrance to the driveway has been severely raised due to tree roots making it risky for people with lower cars. You can see marks where vehicles have scrapped the floor while driving in.

The space was easy to find and close to the main road running through Hove so easy to get there by foot. It seemed like quite a decent road and area. The space was tight, not helped being next to a pillar with a rusty old bike attached to it. We had to manoeuvre a lot to get the car in and someone had to hold the bike away to get my door open. Thankfully we have parking sensors otherwise it would have been a struggle. Otherwise, I would be happy to use it again.

Nice owner, good comms when arranging. Great location. Space is under cover which is an added bonus, but might be tight for tall or long vehicles, most normal car sizes will fit fine. Watch out for the steep bump on the entrance to the off street parking/building, obviously not the owners fault, nor can they do much about it, but worth noting - stick to the right as you enter!

The parking space had a roof, which was great, we had no pollution from birds! Short walk to beach snd to cool places to eat in church road. Be aware of the bump in the sidewalk as you enter the backyard where the parking is and all will be well.

When I arrived, the parking space was blocked by a locked bike so I parked beside it instead. I tried to ring owner multiple times but no one answered. Was contacted by owner 3 hours later and told to move car to spot where bike was. I had to take a taxi to parking spot at midnight to repark. Poor service indeed. Also parking space is very small and not suitable for large cars, despite being advertised as so.
