Parking space on Warren Close, CB2

I think that it's a brilliant way to pick up someone from the train station in Cambridge and avoid really pricey parking fees. Only reason for only 4 stars is the space was quite difficult to get into.

Space is good and easy to find, however I have received a threatening message on my window screen, telling me that I am parking in someone's spot and I will be clamped. after calling the space owner and having a brief chat with her she was not much help. I did text her too! The owner does not live in Cambridge and has no idea what is going on with the space really - doesn't fill me with confidence and I am not going to find out. booked an alternative space instead and I hope 3rd time is a charm.

Good instructions for finding the spot, no issues whatsoever and very close to train station.

Someone had parked directly behind the space making it nearly impossible to get into. Not the owners fault of course. Otherwise and excellent space.

Good option when the station car park is likely to be full as very close by. Photo on the web is nothing like the actual parking space though. It is very tight, so much so that when I returned to my car it had been bashed by the car next to it. Owner was helpful when I called to check the actual space against the photo.

Good directions and close to station and also safe area.

Very close to the train station, however make sure you keep a close watch on the Warren Close turning as if you pass it which I did by accident (area is full of construction site walls on either side) you enter a "buses only" area with no opportunity to turn around until right outside the station. I had a very aggressive stagecoach driver 1 inch behind me who kept blasting his horn at me and others who had to do a 3 point turn to get out of this area. Also space is tight. My VW Golf was ok reversing in but an estate or 4x4 could be challenging and therefore stressful before you board your train or whatever it is you will be doing.

So easy to find - and perfect for Cambridge Train Station. Have used this space several times with both vehicles (VW GTi & Jeep). A tight fit for the Jeep as it's at the end of a block - but certainly doable. Will continue to use in the future.

A short walk from the station. Very convenient. Safe, well lit area.
