Space description
AUGUST 2026 UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE! Major roadworks are taking place along Clayton Road starting 03/08 for ~7 weeks (cordoning off & digging up sections, large work vehicles, etc.) We have been told that driveways will remain accessible throughout but I don't know currently how disruptive this will be (as of 06/08 - will update listing with any more info). I've reduced the cost of the space for these 7 weeks!
------------
Driveway space on Clayton Road, Brighton in a quiet cul-de-sac with very little foot or vehicle traffic.
Width-wise the driveway is very roomy with plenty of space to open doors or unload a wheelchair. There's also a movement-sensitive light outside if you're parking in the dark.
There ARE a couple of on-street disabled bays opposite where 1-2 cars often park so, while small/medium cars should have no major problems, long cars or vans may not be able to get in & out easily! Please consider this before you book!
The space is a five minute walk from Brighton Racecourse and Queens Park, plus bus routes to the Marina, Churchill Square, Brighton Station and more that run very regularly. A walk into town, to the station, or down to the seafront is about 25-30 minutes from this spot.

How our drivers felt about this space
A suitable parking space for smaller vehicles in a quiet environment, about a 30-minute walk to the beach. While the road is narrow, it’s generally safe and convenient for longer stays.

The booking process and finding a parking space was very easy.
The parking space was exactly as described and was perfect for my needs!
Michael G20th July 2025 on TrustPilot
It’s a decent size space, however the road is narrow can make it difficult to manoeuvre. A normal hatchback will fit fine, anything bigger is going to struggle.
Shane B13th July 2025
It's a quiet street and about 30 mins walk to the beach
However it's a very narrow road with cars parked both sides of the street so very tight to manoeuvre is a understatement if you have a big or long car AVOID
I had to do about a 20 point turn to get in and out. Only suitable for a mini
I would only use if no other options
It's a safe street just a warning for bigger cars
Byron J2nd July 2025
Brilliant space to park. Needed a space to park and forget about the car for a few days and this work perfectly!
Nicola S24th May 2025
We found alternative parking closer to our destination
Emma M5th November 2024
More like a 30min walk to the pier , and very hilly! Clayton Road is very narrow and on a none too salubrious residential area. But left car overnight with no issues and got an Uber back with luggage.
Ryan H3rd September 2024
Ideal parking spot, easy to find and more than enough space.
Kerry F21st July 2024 on TrustPilot
Really useful, not too expensive, very tight space though so book with some caution
Adam H24th June 2024
Great spot. Plenty of room to park and get in and out of the car.
Angela A8th June 2023
no too small for the van, run down area, bins in the way, very narrow Rd, with cars opposite the space making it a nightmare to park in!!
