This car park is currently undergoing renovation so there are no doors in place and therefore no secure coded entry. Also there are thieves operating in the area so if parking here probably best not to leave anything in the car on view. We left bikes padlocked securely in the car park and parts of the bikes were stolen overnight.
it's a great location but currently it's a building site. hard to get into with big trucks about.
Extensive building work means entry and exit is not immediate and can require some waiting. Also there is no key pad to open the barrier as the barrier has been removed as part of the work. in terms of price and location, this is faultless, but having parked in bay 26, one of the numbered bays instructed to me as being available to me, on collecting my car today I was greeted with an angry note placed on my windscreen advising not to park there as it was a private place. Thus, getting out of the car park was even more difficult as I'm guessing said angry person parked in an unmarked place behind us, meaning getting out tested our meticulous driving skills! I photographed my car parked in bay 26 because, for some reason, I did have a feeling of untrust in parking here. I feel reluctant with this, my first Just Park experience, to use the service again as obviously something is amiss in the organisation or communication.
The location is outstanding, right smack in the centre of Brighton within sight of the seafront and a five minute walk from North Laine. It's a little stressful driving up the pedestrian zone but the directions were spot-on and very easy to follow. I've knocked a star off because there was construction work happening on the day of the booking, which was not communicated to me. As a result, we couldn't access the space until twenty minutes into our booking and there didn't appear to be any security; we drove straight in without having to input an access code and when we left, the door was wide open despite the workers having left.
Due to the building work going on I had to wait 20 minutes to get in the car park. The car park is no longer secure and open to anyone to walk in. The electric shutter has been removed.
Easy to find and a good price
