Was forced to pay twice for parking! I was told by the parking attendant that even though if pre-paid I still had to enter my reg to get a ticket to leave and this then charged me a further £68 on top of the £68 that I'd already paid!! Absolutely disgusting!

I felt completely ripped off here. I was coming down for my daughter’s graduation and was very worried about parking in the city as timings were tight. I saw that you could “book” parking in advance at North Road. Online I booked between 8 and 5 for £28.50 which seemed competitive and I had piece of mind.
I got there on time and parked ok. When I came back before 5 I wasn't sure on the process so put my registration details in the machine. It came back that the amount to pay was £10. Apparently if I had parked and paid at the site it would have been 18.50 cheaper because of an early bird rate. Also there were no barriers there (all ANPR) so I dont think my place would have been reserved anyway.
Your website should reflect the actual pricing and carpark set up.

Spaces were tiny (struggled to park a normal size family car) and the stairwell stank of urine. Parking attendant was very helpful though.

We turned up at the car park and were told they were full and had no spaces left, even though we had booked a space on advance for a an alotted time.
We were told we would have to wait until a space became free.
I was told even if you book there is no guarantee of a space when it's busy.
Only when I complained was a space was offered.
I was told the booking on line was not working correctly and they were busy that's why there was no spaces.
If you can't guarantee a space don't take people's money. I could have used alternative parking but would have been out of pocket.

We arrived slightly later than we had booked for and the car park had a cone blocking the entrance, we moved it so we could turn the car around as the car park is on a fairly busy street and the car parking attendant decided to berate us for this. Horrid experience, do not recommend, tiny spaces, rude staff and frankly dangerous
