King Edwards VI Aston School Playing Fields Car Park (Events Only)

It wasn’t a proper parking place. Other cars were parked there for free. I was charged for parking on the school field that wasn’t even available. I could have parked on the school site for free. Instead I was charged £37 and all the roads around it were closed.

Parking was secure and easy to find, took quite some time to start emptying the car park but once it started it moved quickly.

Great - a 4-star rating

Arrival was fine, plenty of staff directing the cars, however when it came to leaving it was a joke. Over 1 hour to exit, only 3 staff at the gate directing the cars. It was a free for all with people cutting across the lanes and nearly causing fights. Needed people directing set lanes

Excellent - a 5-star experience

Plenty of parking but the main problem is the single exit gate. Imagine 500 cars all trying to get out at the same time. A real bottleneck. Parking venue should consider building more than one exit. It took us 80 minutes to leave the parking site.

Easy to find, plenty of Marshall's on way in to direct to parking spots. Short walk to the stadium. Trying to leave was a whole other experience. Spotted 3 young members of staff at the exit who had no control over the hundreds of cars trying to leave. Took over an hour just to get off the field as everyone had bottlenecked. No organisation what so ever. Needs a rethink. Definitely put me off using again.

Great parking just slow getting out

Leaving the space was badly managed and took over an hour to get out of the Car park meaning we got home from the gig v late. No one manages movement to ensure those that arrived first actually moved. We were stationary for most of that time.
