The port city of Aberdeen is packed with wonderful attractions and places to visit, the list is huge. Aberdeen is situated in the North East of Scotland, and it has flourished in recent times thanks to the discovery of oil in the North Sea. That has brought a lot of business to Aberdeen, and the city and its surroundings are becoming a popular commercial and tourist area.

There is an airport in Aberdeen, situated to the north of the city in Dyce, about a 10-minute drive from the city centre and easily accessible by bus. You have several flights available to France and Spain, as well as other European destinations. Parking in and around the airport is also easy.

The central train station is only a short distance away from the main city centre, and you have trains always available to get from Aberdeen to all the big cities such as London, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. There are also trains to several of the smaller towns in the Aberdeenshire region.
