JustPark Turns One!

How has it already been a year since Parkatmyhouse became JustPark? Happy birthday!

A year ago this week, we said a fond farewell to ParkatmyHouse and became JustPark. We did this to broaden our offering and reinforce a brand that’s about making parking as simple as it should be. In true birthday style, we ate a silly amount of cake, sang happy birthday (to ourselves – bit weird) and reminisced.

A quick look back

It’s been quite a year. We held the most successful crowdfunding round in the history of UK startups, smashing several records in the process. We released a brand new iOS app and a long-awaited Android app. We introduced Apple Watch functionality and were chosen as one of Apple Pay’s UK launch partners. We’ve signed partnerships with a number of national car park operators. Our CEO published a critically acclaimed business book on the sharing economy. And last but not least, we were honoured to win first prize in Sir Richard Branson’s ‘Pitch to Rich’ startup competition.

In short: if you’re looking to book parking in seconds or make money from your driveway, you’ve come to the right place.

Thank you

This is a nice list, sure, but we couldn’t have done any of it without you. From the bottom of every heart here at JustPark HQ, we’d like to say a really really big thanks to all 750,000 of our users and nearly 3,000 new investors for helping make JustPark into the noisy one-year-old it is today.

Here’s to the end of the parking headache, to our growing community of drivers and space owners, and to an even more massive cake next year…
