Parking space on my driveway directly in front of my house, no 7 - end of terrace - on a private managed estate 10 mins walk to York Railway Station and 15 mins into town. Safe and well lit.
Another way to station on foot from mine (and to National Railway Museum): if you go back to Watson St and turn right along Railway Terrace right to the end there is a footbridge over the railway lines - just follow the path after the bridge to the end and there is a back way into the train station. You’ll see some steps and a departure board next to the car park.
