Rowntree Wharf Pay & Stay York Car Park

First time using the app to pre-book a parking spot in advance of what was an upcoming trip in York and it couldn't of been easier. Arrived parked up and that was that. Would definitely use again.

Directions leads you to, as the photo shows, a 3 story car park accessed by a sliding gate and a short stay car park on the left ( run by "Ring Go" Car parks and an app or separate no to call) No signs to indicate what/where Just Park Bays are? Also all bays were occupied in short stay?? Tried to contact Just Park on help number which rang continuously for 20mins before ans. Compounded by two reviews who had received penalties for parking there?? AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Helpline is no help who advised me to park and if full they'll find somewhere else! If You get a parking charge? That's ok he said, just appeal and show them then confirmation email from Just Park. Insane way to do business if you ask me. Never again.

The parking bay was available and cheaper than if I just turned up and booked on line with the car park owners.

Online Booking was easy, even for us oldies. Clear instructions to locate car park and it was a safe location. Not many parking spaces, but enough. Would definitely use again.

Would be better if displayed just park sign somewhere visible before entering the car park as we couldn't see anything displaying this ...

Was Open shortly after my arrival, no problem and close to the city centre

Arrived at destina tion which matched the photo shown by just park, only to find that this is a Ring Go car park (no signage or mention of just park) Had to pay Ring Go, as the contact tel number shown on the just park app was not connected. I have requested a full refund as a result, please do better Just Park!
