Would highly recommend the parking in the grounds of St Lawrence Parish Church, stayed for 3 days throughout Christmas, safe and secure. The Shambles is approximately a 10 minute walk away into town not far at all. I will definitely park there again on my next visit, thank you very much.

No problems with booking our spot in York. Found it a little hard to find, but could have just been us. Easy walking distance of the city, plenty of room for larger cars. Did see 1 security camera but not sure if it covered the carpark but had no issues. Good value for city centre.
