No real parking spaces as such - just a verge with stones so families have to then walk on the road. No pay meter, but a sign saying you have to do it through the app or a phone call. What if you don't have a phone? My daughter spent half an hour trying to access this and pay, when we should have been having a nice relaxing picnic!

Unfortunately the car park I booked for parking for a concert and paid for over night closed it's gate so as soon as I parked, safely,plenty of spaces, fairly easy to find Unfortunately was closing abs I spent an hour driving around Wrexham looking for alternative with spares.

I was very impressed. The fact that one can leave one's car in a designated space, a space demarcated by bright, thick, white lines, separated from other cars yet still fairly close to the place one wants to visit, neatly arranged in rows with an access road in and out, fully paved, and visible on a map; the change this makes from abandoning one's vehicle in, say, a muddy ditch by the road, or a canal, on a disused airport runway or in a cave in Mongolia when one wants to visit Luton; the revolution this invention must surely cause to civilisation; it is staggering. Whichever genius formed the compound noun out of 'car' and 'park' had an epiphany worthy of Newton; they should be awarded the Nobel prize as far as I am concerned. Bravo - a car park!
