This is a terrible system that the Council has provided to walk in a local park.
They advertise the charges then you are hit with hidden charges, admin fee, SMS fee, SMS reminder fee then VAT on top of it all. This meant it was a 46% uplift on quoted fees.
The reason it was easy to park is that all the walkers that used to occupy the car park are boycotting this car park.
We will not be visiting here again. The councils need to be honest and display the real prices.
