Tankerton Road, CT5

Lovely big parking space, perfect location for our weekend stay at the Marine hotel. Great to have a guaranteed space when it gets busy along the seafront.

The access is down a back alleyway located at the rear of the high street. The parking spot is about half way along the alleyway. We were looking out for a block of wood with the number, 125, on it, as per instructions but just couldn’t locate it. We went round again & still couldn't find it so tried phoning the owner & just as we were leaving a voicemail my daughter spotted an engraving on a block of wood on the ground with the number 125 on it. The lady rang us back & we were pleased to confirm we’d found the parking spot. The location for parking near Marine Parade & the high street was great. We were attending the Whitstable 10k run so we were wearing trainers which was perfect for walking along the alleyway to get to the road. Although it was initially tricky to find, once found, it was a great spot, as once parked, walked down the alley towards St Ann’s road/tennis court end, turn right towards Marine Parade & there were the loo’s!! & after that, a 5 or 6 minute walk to where the running race registration was being conducted (opposite Whitstable Castle grounds), then a further 8 minute walk from there to the main Whitstable harbour & high street.

Went to the Marine Hotel but their car park was full. This was a great quick option as the waterfront parking was full too! Down a narrow alley but wasn't a problem for my big car. Had to circle round once as the picture shows white 125 sign but now it is a brown wooden block in the floor which blends in with the fence a bit so missed it on the first pass. Other than that, no complaints!! Thanks you!

It was a great space for use while I was staying in Tankerton. It is close to the sea front and there was plenty of space. The only thing is that it is down an alley way - and i found it difficult to find first time. However, it was a great place to park!

An excellent space if you are going for an all day tattoo in Reverence tattoo in Tankerton High Street. it's a couple of minutes' walk away. I will use it again.

Great location for a very reasonable price. Slight and only draw back is identifying the spot. It's not obvious and I had to ask a neighbour that I was in the right spot.

The space is down a gravel bumpy path which my sat nav struggled to find. I had to call the owner for directions, but she was incredibly helpful and once found the space was ideal for my trip and felt very safe and secure

Fantastic parking space, especially if going for lunch at The Marine Hotel.

Good space to park. Large, tucked away yet so close to Marine Parade and the seafront. Would recommend.
