The approach road to Tyneham village is not wide enough to allow coaches, buses, mini buses over 9-seat and camper vans to access the site. These types of vehicles are therefore not allowed in this car park.
The car park is open from 9am till dusk.
Access to the Tyneham village car park is only permitted when the MoD Ranges are not Live Firing. Opening times are as per advertised on the Gov.UK website address (gov.uk/government/publications/lulworth-access-times)
You may enter and exit this space as required for the duration of your booking.

The parking was great. Plenty of space. Tyneham Village was amazing. However there is no signal there. Trying to pay the voluntary donation has taken me the best part of half an hour. Trying to download the Justparking app was a nightmare. Goes round in circles. Thought I was smart but maybe not. Worst parking app I've ever used

I parked in this car park on Saturday 08/08/26. I was unable to pay due to no signal on my phone. I tried to pay the next day, I was only able to pay for Sunday 09/08/26 the cost being 40pence this has been paid for the wrong day. I trust I will not receive a parking fine for this amount. The car park is Tynham Village. Isle of Probexcks I was out walking had no glasses or signal.

We were not actually at Tyneham when I paid. We were there on Monday but not having smart phones couldn't pay on site. The warden advised us to go onto your website when we got home and pay that way. Of course you do not have an option for paying retrospectively so we had to enter everything as if we were there!
