Book Park & Ride Parking at Bescot Stadium, Walsall | Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships
Head to the Midlands this summer as the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships brings world-class track and field to Alexander Stadium, running from 10th-16th August. Watch Europe's best athletes go head-to-head, from sprint finals to field event showdowns - every session counts.
This official Park & Ride facility operates from Bescot Stadium, Walsall (Bescot Cres, Walsall WS1 4SA) for every session throughout the Championships, with 650* spaces available per session. Return bus travel is included in the price of your parking, with a bus journey of around 25 minutes to Alexander Stadium.
Car parks open 2.5 hours before each session and close 2.5 hours after, giving you plenty of time to arrive, park up, and travel to and from the action without the stress of city-centre parking or traffic.
The first bus runs 2 and a half hours before the event starts and the last 2 hours after the session finishes.
Height restriction: 2.1M
Please note: your booking is for the individual session (morning or evening) - this will be reflected in your booking confirmation times.
If you have booked for both the AM & PM session or an day-pass, you can leave your car in the car park in between sessions.

Booked a parking space in Bristol, only noticed afterwards in the small print that the space was not suitable for electric vehicles. Was given a full refund, but it should have been clearer that the space was restricted. And JustPark store car details so should be able to identify if a customer is booking a space they won’t be able to park in. I don’t always read the small print!

The car parking was spread over a large area. I was directed into a small car park area (up a slope) and with a rather rough surface. But there were no signs (eg Area A, B, C etc) On returning to the area after the event and in the dark I and several others had trouble locating our cars. Problem was we couldn't even say to the stewards 'can you direct us to car park XYZ', we had to sort of describe it. The car park was well lit when we eventually found it, and cars leaving the site were well directed.

We always use JustPark for our London parking but was chuffed when we saw they were looking after the European Athletics park and ride. So organised and good value.
