Raine Grove, SR1

I arrived later than I booked due to traffic and other unexpected things and when I got there, the space was easy to identify (thanks to the pictures and house number). It was a double driveway with a double metal gate, which was closed and the space was entirely empty on arrival. I was a little nervous about opening / securing the gate and whether or not I was meant to do this myself, but I did so anyway and reversed in and parked as far to the right of the driveway as I could whilst still opening my door. I drive a 2019 Mini for reference. The gates were quite tricky to move, so if you have reduced dexterity/mobility it may be quite heavy as one of the gates had to be sort of lifted whilst opening due to the angle of the driveway I guess. Anyway, I used the space to walk to the Stadium of Light and it took me between 20-25 mins on foot to get there. The city centre was probably more like 10 mins. I'm a relatively fast walker. The game was an 8pm kick off and I am a solo woman. I didn't feel the area was "unsafe" at all, however it's worth noting that some of the sections that Google maps had me walk back through closer to the property were not very well lit, so some may find that uncomfortable if unprepared. Then again, Google maps also had me walk through a bypass that I'm certain was not intended for pedestrians, so I'm sure there were alternative routes I could have taken that may have been more lit up. The road had quite a lot of cars parked on the pavements and it's quite a curvy road - but they have put notices in front of the gates to the space itself asking people to keep the gate free so hopefully getting in/out shouldn't be impacted. When I returned after the game, a second car (think it was a Ford Puma for size reference again) was parked next to me on the drive and whilst it was a little tight to get out, it wasn't "scary" tight because I had reversed in. Might have been worse had I driven in and parked face forward. Happy with the space and would use it again for myself if ever in the area again. Thank you!

Enough room to park 2 cars in the space Secured with gate Easy to find. Only 20mins walk to the football stadium Thanks very much

Turned up at the booked address to find a small heavily congested street, difficult to traverse. The booked driveway was full with two vehicles and a third vehicle blocking the driveway itself?? Tried the doorbell (several times) no answer. Tried calling the space owner (several times) again no answer. Called helpline and was hung up on twice. Called back and couldn't resolve the issue. Ended up using the multi storey CP (2mins) from the theatre which was far less hassle and £2 cheaper!! Result!! Goodbye Just Park, you seem riddled with issues like this, with this being the 3rd and last time you get. It's just not worth the stress and hassle

Easy to buy got there easily Parked up with no trouble Watched the match and Returned with no trouble Brilliant

Nice space to park easy to find but we didn't realise that another car turned upto park in same spot you can park 2 cars on there but we didn't know about it so was a good job we hadn't gone to ground but apart from that all was good

Excellent space. Convenient for the Stadium and city centre. Don't believe the negative feedback of others. The owner went to the trouble to text to advise there would be another car on the drive and what to do. Also it is not a "dodgy" area as another reviewer implied. It's working class, that's all. Like most of Sunderland!

Excellent

Unfortunately, the parking spot is in a challenging area so it was not safe to park and leave my car.

just about squeezed my van in. bit of a walk to stadium of light, but easy to get away from football traffic.

Great location and close to city centre
