Parking on Oaks Road, TW19

I booked this space for 2 weeks, and as I returned I found my car had been completely boxed in with a car next to me and another behind me parked on the dropped curb. We was not able to contact the space owner at all, I had 4 different neighbours trying to help me get in contact with no luck. All the neighbours told me that this space owner regularly has extra cars parked on her dropped curb for long periods of time. Eventually I was able to get out with the help of all the neighbours but not without completely scratching my car in her bush to allow me the extra room to leave.

The address was easy to find. I had to manoeuvre a lot to adjust my car in the left corner space. Monica dropped us off, very helpful. However, for the pickup, Monica was one hour and 20 minutes late. Even though I had informed her of my arrival date and time a day in advance my time of arrival but she disputed that I did not. I showed her the messages that we had exchanged a day before. At one point, she threatened not to show up even though we had already waited an hour. What transpired is that she works as a school teacher between 8 am and 4 pm, which was not disclosed on the just park page otherwise I certainly would not have reserved her space.

My rating is for the parking space itself but NOTE for the actual time and costs of parking outside the terminal I would rate a bit lower. The Parking space itself was easy to find, there are 4 spaces in the drive one of which is in front of the garage. The Uber to the airport in the morning cost just under £15 but the downside was on the return journey back from the airport in the evening - the black cabs were charging a set fee of £35 and not all black cabs will go to this area if it's outside of their designated area. The Uber's were also charging £35 minimum so bear all of this in mind when choosing to park further away from the airport.

Really easy to find this space, and a close taxi journey to the airport. I got an Uber there which wasn't much, however coming home I had to pay airport taxi prices which was a fixed charge of £35 for a short trip!! But the parking space was perfect, just what I needed.

Very convenient for Heathrow. Only a 5/10 minute cab, uber or lift to T5. Owner was able to give a ride to the terminal. Great value, friendly service. and rapid response to messages. My first time using a "Rent a Driveway" serivce & i'll be sure to do it again at this adress for LHR. Thanks once again!
