This is a private driveway, within 2 minutes walk down to Porthmeor Beach, 5 minutes - at the most to the centre of town, harbour etc. It takes a bit longer to get back as it's all up hill! The space is a little bit narrow so you need to be careful when you open your doors, depending on how much you love your car.

I booked this space earlier that same day for a 12:30 PM start through to the end of the day. When I arrived at nearly 1:30 PM—an hour after my booking started—there was already another car parked right in the spot I had paid for.
I rang the host, but the phone just kept ringing with no answer and no callback. When I spoke to her son, he had no idea whose car was blocking the drive and casually mentioned his mum had "gone swimming."
Paying for a private space is supposed to take the stress out of parking, not leave you stranded with a blocked drive and ignored by the host. Completely unprofessional. I strongly advise others to avoid this spot.

Great parking space, worked really well for our weeks stay. Unfortunately, a vehicle was parked across the driveway when we arrived but this was soon moved and we were able to park.

Good parking opportunity and easy walk from city.
Did have an unfortunate encounter as parking is manic in the city and some lady decided it was ok for her to block the entrance while she was running errands in the neighbourhood with the emergency lights on.

Great to have a guaranteed space to return to if going out of St Ives during your holiday. Probably best for smaller cars - was quite tight for my Ford Grand C-Max (which is fairly narrow), as was mindful to leave enough space around the car for the owner to be able to get out of the house & get bins past etc - grateful that my back doors are sliding - I had to shimmy out of the drivers side!

The space was perfectly fine and as advertised. It's about a 10 minute walk to Fore Street, and maybe slightly longer back out due to the hill.
We took a VW Golf and the space was a bit snug but good. If you had anything much wider or longer it would be pretty tight.

Very kind lady who met us on arrival. Parking is ideally located just a short walk from the town centre.
