The space is behind a wide double wooden gate set back from the road close to St Ives town centre, without being in the 'thick of it', so road access is easy. We are around 6-7 minutes walk from Lambeth Walk and around 3/4 mile from the harbour front. A 10-15 minute stroll will have you on Porthminster, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden or on the Harbour. There is a pedestrian access gate next to the car gates if the gates are closed. When closed, your car is not visible from the roadside as the gates are solid-clad. Please feel free to close the gates over when you park, if you wish.
We're a little bit up the hill, so while the space isn't covered, we do have fewer "presents" left on bonnets and windscreens from the local sea birds. We can arrange the parking of our own cars so you have in-and-out access all day, or if you're not planning on using your car for a period of time, we will happily box you in if you prefer... just send us a message and let us know your preference.
There is a passive security light in the porchway, and the surrounding area is fairly well-lit by local street and ambient lighting. The driveway is block-paved and relatively flat, so access is safe and easy. The gate aperture is wide, and being set back from the road, you can safely drive in and reverse out, or vice versa.
Please note it is a family home, so please do not book if you're hoping for an overnight stay in a camper on the drive - despite being van people ourselves, we can't accommodate this, sorry.

Perfect parking spot less than 10 minutes from town. Easy to find and park, plus bonus that car can't be seen from the street. Owner friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
