The parking space is off-road in a large walled residents' car park that is concealed from the street. The space is conveniently located for the International Port, which is a 10-minute taxi ride away. Fratton train station and Fratton Park football stadium are just a 15-minute walk away and there is a bus stop to the city centre just outside the opposite car park. St Mary's Treatment Centre is less than a 10-minute walk away. The space is under a tree, so you might want to use a car cover for long stays.

The parking space was easy to find and clearly marked. I have Land Rover Defender 110 which fitted in the space. (There is no height restriction). It costs about £8 to get to the harbour in a taxi from this car park. There is a bus stop outside where you can get the no. 21 to Gun Wharf Quays.

Good location for the port and secure off-road parking. The only issue was a tree over the parking spot dropping leaves, seeds and sap. Just washing the car was not enough to remove it. The sap ate into the paint and needed to T-Cut it to remove.

Felt very safe as it is resident parking only and has a 10-12 foot wall all the way round. Would definitely use this space again if we were catching the IOW Ferry. Very easy to find and the space was big enough to fit our 6m long campervan.
