Very expensive for 1 hour. Car parking spaces are not wide/long to fit a family size vehicle and get children in and out.

It was out of season so parking was dead easy, this car park is busy in the summer. I used the MER rapid charger to top up the car. Not the cheapest but handy. This carpark would be served best by a large number of slow 7KW chargers as most people park for the day.

Booked an hour’s parking. Tried to extend for an hour and the app said payment had processed although it was only after finding a penalty notice on the windscreen that I realised that payment hadn’t gone through. Explained to the parking attendant who was unable to help and ticket appeal was refused. A costly lesson not to trust the app
