The new car parking system by the App is terrible. Signal problems for a start, but it was far from clear how to enter a National Trust number. You need to enter arrival AND departure time first. Who would guess this? We didn't know a departure time when we've just arrived!! Then after getting the card details accepted, there is no way out of that screen other than the "Pay by Card" button, when as a member there is no payment. Finally realised you have to go through the payment process even when price is FREE. Terrible design for an App. Crowd of confused people around the signage indicates we're not the only people who didn't understand what should be a simple process. All other NT parks we've been to have card scanners and not difficult to use tech where signal strength is known to be poor.

good spacious car park. No signal to pay via app, no machine to pay by card instead. JustPark app also not letting me find parking location in app ("No Internet" message shown) even when 5G signal and WiFi connection. I then reinstalled app afterwards, which thankfully enabled me to find parking location and pay.

There are no prices displayed or clear information how to pay - when I saw the price for less than half an hour I wished I hadn't waited for the app to download as I can't afford to park here

Not visited this car park for a couple of years and horrified to find I can now only pay through a digital app. Surely this limits access to many elderly people? While I welcome being able to download the app and pay in retrospect, there were not instructions on how to do that. Also the parking charge was not displayed - or I didn't find it.

Couldn't get a signal to pay so had to pay later when I got home
Very difficult to find the location ID from the app. The app should have a map search option

Terrible time trying to use Just Park. In the end had to pay when I got home. Spoilt the walk experience by making it stressful to try/ fail to pay.
