Harlyn Bay Car Park

Don't understand the benefit of extend your booking. I paid £7.70 for 4 hours (£10.20 for 6) I later extended my booking by 2 hours (6 in total) and got charged a further £4.40 ie £12.10 in total)

We park here probably twice a month to use facilities and take our two golden retrievers for a walk on the beach. We love this beach Only downside is poor phone reception to log into parking app

Horrendous!!!! DO NOT PARK HERE WITHOUT KNOWING THE EXACT SECOND YOU ARRIVE AND LEAVE!! MAKE SURE YOU PAY MORE THAN YOU THINK. We stayed here and paid but went slightly over and a few days later, received a £60 fine! Will never visit this car park again!! Avoid if possible. Feels like a scam! Alliance Parking - You are horrible people!!!

Car park was empty when arrived , bedlam when left, cars dumped everywhere so got blocked in . Quick to take our money but no management of the car park just a free for all

Beware that you need to put a ticket on your car straightaway.

The only good thing about this car park is the location. The quality is terrible, many deep potholes which are dangerous for cars and people. Cell reception is not good, and you can easily think you have paid but the transaction is incomplete leading to a fine. We do voluntary beach cleans at Harlyn every month throughout the year and the fee paid here is the highest of the 5 beaches we clean, particularly in the off season. We are a captive audience and they take advantage of everyone sadly.

The surface could be better!

we bought a ticket for 1 hour. Recoeved a parking fine 1 week later. turns out the cameras and the ticket machines don't match. by the time we got on the app and entered card details, maybe 4 or 5 minutes had elapsed. this was apparently enough to receive a ticket for overstaying. the cameras said we should have left 5 minutes earlier , even though we were trying to get a ticket and our exit time should have been the same as on the ticket, not the time we entered the car park
