Trouble free parking

Everything was alright (easy to find, safe and convenient location) until I got the parking charge notice (100 GBP, ParkingEye Ltd). Immediately, I submitted the appeal online with the receipt and JustPark confirmation and in 2 weeks I received a response:
"As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to confirm that this charge has now been cancelled and there is no outstanding payment due. We understand that receiving a Parking Charge Notice may be inconvenient, however, issuing Parking Charges for breaches of the parking terms and conditions at this car park is necessary to ensure a better overall parking experience for all users of the facilities. To avoid potential future inconvenience, we would kindly request you follow the parking terms and conditions displayed on the signage throughout the car park."
However, I paid for the parking (11 am to 7 pm), I followed the parking instructions and I parked only within the time period I had booked.
I wanted to ask how I breached the parking terms and conditions - but there is no way of contacting ParkingEye Ltd (no-reply emails, and the email appeals@parkingeye.co.uk is not working either).
In the end, I can be grateful, that despite paying the parking fee via JustPark, I am not obliged to pay 100 GBP to Parking Eye ("as a gesture of good will"). Thank you!
Overall, I am very disappointed with this service and I will definitely not use it again.
