PLEASE PARK IN THE END SPACE IN OUR DRIVE NEAREST THE CAMERA - Directly opposite the Osler Road entrance to The John Radcliffe Hospital, we have a 7 foot high wall and gates (not locked, but always closed), so you can open the gates, drive in, shut the gates again and your car is parked safely inside the walled garden. We'd ask that you park tidily and shut the gates, but this is simple. There is a photo here of the parking space: in the photo the parking space is NEAREST TO THE CAMERA (with the big dark grey car in it!) and the gates you come in are the large wooden ones behind. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE. In July 2017 we had new gates installed - the light green gates in the Google Maps image have been replaced with large new wooden gates. PLEASE DO NOT PARK OVERNIGHT IN OUR SPACE. LATE AND EARLY IS OK, BUT NOT OVERNIGHT.

The parking space is at the back of the house on a hard concrete driveway with a dropped curve, and is suitable for large cars (including small to medium-sized vans, but these may not be easy to park). There are motion-activated lights that illuminate the space at night and CCTV recording.
There is no key-code, lock, permit or meeting required - you can drive right up and park. You can arrive and leave whenever and as many times as you like within the period of your booking. The parking space availability is kept up-to-date so if you can book the space, it will be available to park in, even if you book last minute. Someone is in most of the time in case of any issues and we will try to keep an eye on your car. I try to keep prices as affordable as possible.
There are excellent bus links into central Oxford with buses every 3-4 mins during the day from two stops 3 mins walk away, or enjoy a short 15-minute walk down the lively and bohemian Cowley Road to the centre of town.

To get to the JR hospital, you can pass through the Sandfield park(our driveway is one house away from the park), and you will see the West Wing opposite you. Once you enter the West Wing, you can take the lift to level 2 and go through the link corridor which will take you to the main hospital. Otherwise, you can walk up to 45 Sandfield Road and then turn left. You can see the JR parking areas and the main entrance of JR hospital.
